New Web Site for SCA
Date Posted: January 8th, 2009
December 23, 2008 (Utica, NY) The Stanley Center for the Arts (SCA) announced today that its new web site, www.StanleyCenterForTheArts.com, is now live.
Ronald L. Thiele Jr., SCA Executive Director, said: "The new web site includes content from both the Stanley Theatre and Community Arts Council sites and is part of the ongoing transition from the Central New York Community Arts Council to the new Stanley Center for the Arts name announced earlier this year. The new site aims to be a community arts portal while at the same time, links users to any and all shows being presented on the Stanley World Stage.
"Additionally, Mr. Thiele added, it's a vehicle to promote and support the many generous corporations and organizations in this community that support the Stanley Theatre and the arts throughout the region. The new site also allows for online giving."
The new site, developed by local internet presence company, Quadsimia, LLC, merges www.StanleyTheatre.net and www.cnyarts.com. Visitors to the site are encouraged to check often as it will also feature the most up-to-date information on ticket specials, added shows, group rates and special promotions.
SCA is a regional arts service organization dedicated to building a better way of living though the arts in Oneida, Herkimer and Madison counties. It is the umbrella organization for the Stanley Theatre and the Arts in Education Institute and was recently named by Business of the Year (in the not-for-profit with 50 or fewer employees category) by the Mohawk Valley Chamber of Commerce.
