3 Redneck Tenors Take the Stanley Stage 8pm Friday October 2, 2009

Date Posted: September 22nd, 2009

Utica, NY (September 22, 2009) - In the melodic wake of the Three operatic tenors, Three Irish tenors and Three Mo' Tenors, comes a new breed of tenors from more humble origins...3 Redneck Tenors - A New Musical Adventure. The musical comedy featuring classically trained veteran artists is like Greater Tuna meets Das Barbecu - down home laughs with serious big city music!

Join 3 Redneck Tenors at The Stanley, Downtown Utica at 8pm Friday October 2, 2009.

Written by opera-veteran Matthew Lord with music arranged by award winning composer Craig Bohmler, 3 Redneck Tenors features a cast of veteran Broadway and opera stars including Blake Davidson, Alex Bumpas, Matthew Lord and Dinny McGuire.

Performance songs include a range of familiar and classics including "Lone Prairie", "La Donna e Mobile", "Please Kind Sir", "Green, Green Grass of Home", "YMCA", "O Sole Mio", "It's Now or Never", "Greensleeves", "Hound Dog", "You Light Up My Life", "Nessun Dorma", "La Danza", and "Shenandoah".

Join Billy Bob, Billy Joe and Billy Billee as they mix NASCAR with La Boheme, lite beer with Carmen and even kick up a little dust with Madame Butterfly. You'll travel with our 3 classical cousins from their modest beginnings in Paris, Texas all the way to their triumphant debut at New York's famous Carnegie Hall. It's a foot stompin', knee slappin', uproariously funny musical redneck romp, with tunes of Elvis to Puccini, soul to pop and country to opera. So ya'll come join us and we'll betcha a six pack of longnecks and a can of Copenhagen you've never seen or heard anything like it.

It's not a concert, it's not a play, it's...3 Redneck Tenors - A New Musical Adventure.

Tickets are now on sale at the Stanley, 724-4000, online at www.StanleyTIX.com, and through ticketmaster: 1-800-745-3000.
