Utica, NY (October 9, 2009) - Fasten your garter belt, come up to the lab and see what's on the slab!The Rocky Horror Picture Show istime-warping into The Stanley on Saturday, October 17!
The event begins at 8pm with a Rocktail Party in the theatre lobby featuring a DJ, costume contest and a Time Warp lesson followed by a 10pm screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Brad and Janet take refuge in the castle of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a transvestite mad scientist who is about to unveil his greatest creation - and have a bit of fun with his reluctant guests. This now-beloved film features risque costumes and horrifying effects that will be shown on The Stanley's giant screen. If you've never before taken part in this interactive experience, plan to participate in this 'for-fun' classic when you buy a 'survival kit' available during the Rocktail Party! It's certainly something to experience at least once in your lifetime!
So leave your toys at home, because we've got it all, from picture perfect rocktails to prop kits. WARNING: absolutely NO outside participation props will be allowed!
TICKETS ARE ON SALE at the Stanley Ticket Office, 724 - 4000 or 259 Genesee Street, downtown Utica and are priced at $7 in advance or $10 at the door.
