Rome Art and Community Center 2010 Regional Fine Arts Exhibition

Present your artwork or come view work created by area artists.

Exhibit Dates: July 9 to 29 with an Artist Reception on July 9 from 6-8 pm.

Accepted Works: Two and three dimensional work including but not limited to: painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, drawing/graphics, fiber, and digital art.

Eligibility: Artists must be 18 years or older and reside within 100 miles of Rome, New York. All work must be original, completed within the last three years, and not previously shown at any Rome Art And Community Center Regional Exhibition.

Entry Fee: Non-refundable: $10 per entry for RACC members. Non-members $15 per entry. (One piece of artwork equals one entry.) No limitations on the number of entries. Checks should be made payable to RACC. Payment of entry fee is not a guarantee of selection for Exhibition, as this is a juried exhibition.

Selection: All submissions will be judged by Mary Murray, curator of Modern and Contemporary Art from Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute. Award winners will be notified by telephone. All artists will receive a notice via mail or email of acceptance.

Awards: Best in Show (The Ann Panasci Memorial Award) will receive a $200 cash prize. Awards will be announced at the artist's reception on July 9, at 7:00 pm. Winners will be notified by phone.

Emerson Gallery 2010 Student At Invitational

View works of art by Hamilton College students from June 3 - August 31 2010. Students with artwork on diplay are: Barsha Baral '13, Lauren Duncan '10, Simone Rutkowitz '10, Sarah Song '13, Mary Swartwout '12, Isaac Blasenstein '12, Chiquita Paschal '10, Benjamin Salzman '13, Alicia Specht '11, Susan Temple '13, Michael Bourbeau '10, John Powell '13, Nicole Schilder '11, Harry Swan '13, and Moises Toledano '10.

The exhibition is free and open to the public. The Emerson Gallery is located on the Hamilton College campus in Clinton, NY in the Christian A. Johnson Hall.
