2010 Grammy Award winner Jason Mraz presents a special concert at The Stanley to open the 2010-2011 season 7:30pm Monday September 13, 2010, presented by Kirschner Concerts and Premier Concerts.
An Atlantic Records artist, Mraz's recent studio album, We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. has proven to be a worldwide sensation and has received multiple platinum certifications throughout the world.
In 2010, Mraz took home two major Grammy Awards for songs "Make It Mine" and "Lucky" and the album had three additional Grammy nomination nods in 2009. The Jason Mraz penned song, "I'm Yours," on this album holds the record as the longest-running song in the history of the Billboard "Hot 100". It is also the first song ever to top the charts at four different pop radio formats, and was the 2010 ASCAP "Song Of The Year."
Jason recently garnered two Teen Choice Awards and received the Songwriters Hall of Fame's esteemed Hal David Starlight Award.
In 2009, Mraz was honored alongside Sir Richard Branson by the Environmental Media Association for his planet preservation message.
